We understand that every family is different and that every child is not at the same point in their faith journey. To meet those needs we offer a variety of Religious Education Programs. All our offerings are to assist parents in the faith formation of their child and are not meant to replace parents as the primary educators. Parents are required to take an active role in the faith formation of their child especially when it comes to Sacrament preparation.

INFANT BAPTISM
BY APPOINTMENT
Baptism is a gift from God – a new beginning. It is the first step in our full initiation into a life of faith in Jesus Christ within the Catholic community and tradition.
Parenting, A Sacred Call: As parents, the Lord has entrusted you with the life of one of His little ones. He calls you to provide for this little one – physically, emotionally, intellectually, and most importantly, spiritually.
Thankfully, you don’t have to do it alone. Our Mother of Sorrows Parish is here to assist you with this real call from God. Most important is your attention to your own spiritual needs and family relationship with God through regular participation in the Mass and prayer. Your involvement in any of the many adult faith enrichment opportunities here at the parish can be a key to your spiritual growth and your child’s well-being.
