OMOS Life Teen Needs YOU!
We've been very blessed with a fantastic group of volunteers
for the CORE team this past year. Being on Core has been a huge commitment
for these individuals but they have been loyal and devoted because they
understand the importance of leading our teens closer to Christ.
We don't want our dedicated CORE members to burn
out -- we need more help! If more people will come forward, the load will
lessen drastically for each member involved. Please, please, prayerfully
consider joining the CORE Team for Life Teen. We will train you. You
don't need to know how to pray "properly". You don't need to know how to
give talks. Doesn't matter if you can sing or not. It's fine if you
are a parent, it's fine if you aren't. The only requirement is that you
live your life according to our Catholic faith, you love the Lord and you have a
heart for teens.
There are many ways you can be "Life Support!" We need people
to help with meal planning and preparation, retreat planning and support, social
events, fundraisers as well as hands-on ministry (Core leaders and Confirmation
mentors; Youth Advisory Council). There's a place for everyone God calls.
Could God be calling you to youth ministry?
Orientation, compliance training, and
planning is scheduled during the month of August (to prepare for our Fall
semester). "Core
Member
University
(CMU)" all-day training workshop for all Core leaders will be held in Scottsdale
on Saturday, August 21st.
Registration and fees are due before August 9.

Eighth graders are invited to join our Life
Teen activities and events starting in January of their eighth grade year.
