Adult Faith Formation

Faith is more precious than gold; it is a gift from God. Faith introduces us to a kind of knowledge that human intelligence alone cannot attain. In Adult Formation, it is such a joy and a gift to help guide individuals on their journey of faith. When people come inquiring about our Catholic religion, I see them grow so much in their love of God as they journey to full communion with the church.  When sharing adult formation offerings to seasoned Catholic, it is reassuring that they feel the need to continue on their lifelong journey of faith.

Just like a plant needs water to grow, we need to continue our knowledge of faith so as to open the doors into the fullness of the saving mystery revealed by God. Not all knowledge of faith comes to us academically, we learn by giving of ourselves.  Simply persisting in our everyday struggles to learn and love God is our most authentic expression of faith.

RCIA Core Team
Core Members are essential to the successful flow of the Adult Sacrament Programs.  Some of the duties that are shared by several core team members: facilitate small group tables, help with set-up & tear down for meetings, pray for candidate and catechumens on their journey, be available at all the Rites, Retreat, and the Easter Vigil, be willing to share your faith journey and your relationship with God.
Marriage Preparation
Due to COVID, we're recommending couples go online for marriage preparation. The program we prefer is:
Catholic Marriage Prep, due to its Catholic focus and thoroughness. For more information, please go to their web site:

Couple to Couple Sponsor Ministry – Marriage Preparation
Individuals in this Ministry have a commitment to “sponsoring” engaged couples, in their home, who are preparing for Christian Marriage.  This marriage preparation program is to ensure better preparation for the reality of Christian marriage.  In the process couples will benefit by learning about a Christian marriage and the commitment to continue working at their marriage throughout their lives. This program is a one-on-one program between the sponsoring couple and the couple getting married, and is held in the sponsoring couple’s home.  The sponsor couple would meet and share with the engaged couple four to five times in their home. Each sponsor couple would only have two or three engaged couples a year.

Rosary Makers Ministry
Men and Women pray and make Rosaries out of their own homes for those in need.  These include children, teens and adults receiving sacraments, parishioners who need a rosary, at hospital visits, prisons, schools and other places in need. After attending a workshop to learn how to make a rosary, you are given supplies so you can make the rosaries in the comfort of your own home. You bring the completed rosaries to the church and can get supplies to make more rosaries. Workshops are held twice a year.

Adult Faith Sharing Groups
Faith sharing groups are designed for maximum fellowship and faith-sharing, prayer and letting the power of Jesus come center stage into our lives. The groups give adults a place to share their faith and be enlightened by God’s Word in the Sunday Sacred Scriptures. We have several groups that meet weekly throughout the year.
